David Klein, Co-Chair, said that it’s amazing to see the progression in this event since it first began 20 years ago.
“We started at Grace Methodist and Saint James helped to found it,” said Klein. Â “Through the years we have grown and now we’re here.”
The benefit luncheon had volunteers from more than 20 different churches in the area.
“We have a lot of fun getting together, trying to work for the community.”
Klein said it’s great to see all these different churches working together for a common cause, to help serve the hungry in the community.
