Big Brothers Big Sisters is holding their annual fundraiser that Ohio State fans are always welcomed to.

The 16th Annual Buckeye Pep Rally and Auction is taking place November 11, 2016 from 6:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M. at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds Veteran’s Complex. Director, Mollie Crooks said they’ll have music by D.J. Kurtus Nichols, Live Auction with Sheriff Matt Lutz, and a Full buffet.

“Another great addition to the buckeye pep rally is a reverse raffle,” said Crooks. “We started this last year there are tickets still available so get to us quickly. $100 for the tickets for the reverse raffle, but you have 23 chances to win $100 or more.”

200 reverse raffle tickets were up for purchase and are currently being sold. All donations raised through the Buckeye Pep Rally and Auction are going towards Muskingum, Guernsey, Morgan, and Noble county mentoring programs for the youth.

“Many of the children that are mentored through Big Brothers Big Sisters improves self-esteem, which also allows them to do better in school, avoid risky behaviors, and just go on to either to college or career job training,” said Crooks.

Big Brothers Big Sisters matches up mentors to a child and has them spend time together at least twice a month in the school based program. For more information call Big Brothers Big Sisters at (740) 453-7300.
