ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Appalachian Ohio is partnering with Prince’s Barber Academy to give free haircuts to BBBS littles.

Prince’s Barber Academy Administrative Director Trav Campbell talked about the collaboration and how it benefits the families with kids in the BBBS mentorship program.

“So we’re doing a partnership with Big Brothers and Big Sisters,” Campbell said. “So as of today up until January 31st, we’re going to be offering haircuts for the littles. So we got these certificates. They can bring these in with them and it just shows that, you know what I mean, proof of the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Partnership. And it’s just like a coupon ticket. And it’s good until January 31st. Just come in and we’ll verify one of these tickets stating that they’re in the partnership with Big Brothers and Big Sisters.”

Many of the vouchers have already been distributed during the BBBS holiday get-together and more are being sent to members in the neighboring counties. Prince’s Barber Academy Instructor Scottie Holloway talked about the quality of haircuts the littles can anticipate and explained what makes Prince’s such a great choice.

“They can expect any kind of fade, designs, basic haircuts, that type of thing.” Holloway said. “You can expect nice music, a good conversation, laughter and just a good time. We’ve got great students under a great instructor that will do what it takes to get the kids a nice quality haircut.”

Prince’s Barber Academy is a strong supporter of giving back to the community and is located at 330 Main Street in Zanesville.
