22nd Annual Bikerfest Weekend
ZANESVILLE, OH – Get ready to rev your engines! The Rushing Wind Biker Church is hosting its 22nd annual Bikerfest Weekend on June 7th and 8th.
The festivities kick off on Friday with a meal of soup beans and cornbread served from 3 to 6 PM. At 7 o’clock a special service will honor pastors, law enforcement officers, and first responders, accompanied by live music.
“Friday night, we’re going to come together and honor our law enforcement, local pastors and musicians who are part of a church outreach. We’re going to have a great time with firemen and EMT’s. Really it’s a night to honor our local heroes,” Rushing Wind Biker Church Pastor McGuire said.
On Saturday, the day begins with a free breakfast at 9 AM, followed by the “Shake Your Bootie Ride”. The ride will end in a visit to Finks at noon for a special blessing. The day’s activities will continue with live music and a free meal for all bikers from 5 to 6 PM.
“A great ride Saturday afternoon at 9 AM. We’re going to feed everybody breakfast at Rushing Wind, leave a 10, go to Heart Beats and present some baby booties to them. We call it your “Shake Your Bootie Ride.” And then from there we’re going to go to Fink Harley Davidson to do a bike blessing at noon,” Pastor McGuire said.
All are welcome to join in the festivities. Rushing Wind Biker Church is located at 5715 East Pike in Zanesville.
