ZANESVILLE, Ohio – United Way of Muskingum, Perry, and Morgan Counties has released the training date for the 2017 and 2018 funding applications.

The investment applications training will be on February 13, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. and taking place in John McIntire Library. Becky Clawson, the Community Impact Director said United Way wants this process to be as transparent as possible so that’s why they hold this training meeting.

“Agencies can come and find out about what the requirements are, see the application, see the evaluation tool that we use, and ask questions,” Clawson said. “So this is their opportunity to get kind of sneak peek of what will be required of them to receive funding.”

United Way has goals in the community that work in the areas of health, education, and financial stability.

“If there’s an organization or an agency that is in one of those areas and they’re looking to receive some funding for programs or start a new program,” Clawson said. “We welcome all of those agencies at this meeting on February 13, 2017 and encourage them to checkout our website, it’s unitedwayofmpm.org.”

The investment document will be available on United Way’s website starting February 1, 2017. For more information contact United Way by calling (740) 454-6872.
