Many Gather to Remember West Muskingum Student

Students in the West Muskingum School District gathered before classes Wednesday morning to remember a fellow student.
The students met at a flag pole at West Muskingum High School to remember the life of 16-year-old Jarrett Head.
Head passed away on February 16. He attended both West Muskingum High School and the Mid-East Career and Technology Center in Zanesville, where he was training to be a power lineman.
He was also a member of the West Muskingum Varsity Football Team, played baseball and archery for the school
He was an avid hunter, fisherman and trapper. He was described as a true outdoors man.
A funeral for Head will take place Wednesday at 11a.m., a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
