Drugs Found in Bible
The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office said a bible dropped off at the Justice Center for an inmate last week contained illegal drugs.
Thursday, Cherokee Williamson was arrested and charged with illegal conveyance of drugs.
She’s currently being held in the Coshocton County Justice Center on an over $10,000 bond for her charge.
The sheriff’s office said more charges may be filed after a review by the prosecuting attorney’s office.
Authorities said last Wednesday, a Bible was dropped off at the Justice Center and during a search of the book, a substance believed to be methamphetamine and suboxone were found inside.
As a result of the search an ongoing investigation was launched in the conveyance of drugs into the Justice Center.
Two females and one male were questioned, leading to Williamson’s arrest.
