3 Car Accident in Zanesville Injures 1
The Zanesville Police Department says at least one person is sent to the hospital after an accident at the intersection of Ohio 719 and Moxahala Avenue.
It happened around 5:15 p.m.
Sergeant Chris Phipps says the driver of the white Toyota was traveling west on Ohio 719, when she went through a red light at the intersection. He says she proceeded to strike the driver of the blue car, traveling north on Moxahala Avenue and then struck a yellow truck traveling south.
Phipps says at least one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, complaining of back pain.
He says the driver of the white Toyota will be cited with failure to obey a traffic-controlled device.
