31st Annual Festival of Trees at the Zanesville Muskingum County Convention and Visitors Bureau
ZANESVILLE, OH – The day is here! The Zanesville Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual Festival of Trees fundraiser auction today.
215 local businesses got in on the Christmas spirit and donated trees, wreaths, stockings, and decor.
Most of the businesses also included an incentive with their item, to then be auctioned off to benefit the Chamber.
“This is the 31st year to have this event and it’s a great way for the Chamber to support and recognize the local businesses.” Dana Matz, Chamber President said. “Also to those individuals that make our community a wonderful place to live.”
Matz said he could really feel the Christmas love and joy today.
“It’s a wonderful feeling to see how many businesses donated items.” Matz said. “We know we live in a generous, caring, and supportive community. Each year they continue to prove that statement right.”
The Festival of Trees Auction will be going until 6PM tonight at the Zanesville Muskingum County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Winners may pick up their auction items on Saturday, December 2nd from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 P.M. or Monday, December 4th from 9:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.
