Longtime Springfield Twp. trustee passes away

ZANESVILLE, Ohio–A longtime Springfield Township trustee has passed away.

89-year-old David Dodson of Zanesville died Saturday.

Dodson retired from Central Ohio Coal in 1994 where he worked for 43 years.

He served as a trustee for 46 years and was a full time farmer.

Friends may call until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at William Thompson and Son Funeral Home in White Cottage.

Funeral services with be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Dodson will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park.
