37th Annual Carr Center Cake Auction

ZANESVILLE, OH – Many are “baking” a difference by participating in the Carr Center Cake Auction.
For the last 37 years, the cake auction has made giving back to the Carr Center a piece of cake. All the proceeds from the auction benefits programs at the Carr Center so they can continue their mission to help individuals reach their fullest educational potential.
“This is our premiere fundraiser every year that raises money for all of the direct service programs that we provide in Muskingum County. Last year we used these funds to assist us in serving over 900 individuals through the programs that we have at the center.” Becky Clawson, Executive Director at The Carr Center said.
There are over 300 cakes to be bid on this year. You can bid in person at the Secrest Auditorium in downtown Zanesville, or you can call in your bid to (740) 453-2525.
“This event is important because it helps us to meet our budgetary needs at the Carr Center, we’re a nonprofit organization and fundraisers are the corner stone of how we do what we do. The Cake Auction is the means to that end of serving those children and those seniors and everyone in between in our programs.” Clawson said.
The Cake Auction continues Thursday from 9 to 5, you can listen in on AM 1240 and 102.3 FM.
