3rd Suspect Charged in New Year’s Eve Shooting

Zanesville Police Chief Kenneth Miller says a third suspect has been arrested in connection with a New Year’s Eve shooting at 768 Pine Street. Miller says 29-year-old Jessie Knipe of 1142 Putnam Avenue has been charged with tampering with evidence. She is currently in the Zanesville City Jail and will appear in Municipal Court Tuesday. On Friday 25-year-old Jacob Robert of 216 Weller Avenue was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery and felonious assault. Another suspect, 31-year-old Darrin Wade, also of Zanesville appeared in court Wednesday and pled not guilty to multiple charges in the case including attempted murder, aggravated robbery, felonious assault and having a weapon while under a disability.
