7 Injured in Thursday Accident
Zanesville Police Friday released more details from a two vehicle accident that included seven people. Captain Doug Merry says it happened Thursday night around 8:30 on Maple Avenue. Merry says 29-year-old Nicholas Gridley of Crooksville was driving his car north on Maple near Thurman Avenue. Merry says 23-year-old Kimberly Kennedy of Zanesville was driving her car south on Maple and attempted to make a left turn onto Thurman, failed to yield and the two cars collided. Captain Merry says 7 of 8 people in the two cars were injured and taken to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Merry says Kennedy was cited with failure to yield the right of way while turning left.
