9/11 Flag Ceremony and Memorial Walk at Sheridan

THORNVILLE, Ohio– Students at Sheridan Middle School and High School participated Thursday in a September 11 Flag Ceremony and Memorial Walk.

Students gathered on the field at Paul Culver Stadium with First Responders from Glenford, Somerset, and Thornville Police, Fire, and EMS along with the Perry County Sheriff’s Office for the presentation of the colors.

Sheridan Middle School Principal Ed Wolfel said Thursday‘s ceremony provided students and staff the opportunity to show appreciation for sacrifices they make every day while never forgetting those who gave their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.
