...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Ohio...
Stillwater Creek At Uhrichsville affecting Tuscarawas County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Stillwater Creek at Uhrichsville.
* WHEN...Until Wednesday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Stillwater Creek comes out of its banks in
several locations resulting in overflowing in poor drainage areas.
Minor flooding of low lying areas begins. At 12.9 feet, Numerous
low land areas are flooded. Stillwater Creek begins to flood
portions of Newport Street in Uhrichsville. Homes along Park Drive
begin to flood. Sections of Wilson Road near Phac Park are flooded.
At 13.3 feet, Flood waters reach Newport Avenue in Uhrichsville as
well as East 12th Street and North Main Street half way to East
11th Street. Phac Park along Little Stillwater Creek in Dennison is
flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 10.9 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 7.6 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 10:00 AM EDT Saturday was 10.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.4 feet
early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
early Wednesday morning.
- Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.1
feet on 06/30/1998.

Muskingum River At Coshocton affecting Coshocton County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Muskingum River at Coshocton.
* WHEN...Until Wednesday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Water reaches low lying areas between
Tuscarawas and Walhonding Rivers just upstream of the confluence of
the two rivers. At 15.0 feet, Low areas are flooded and water
reaches a few homes along Route 16 south of Coshocton and along
County Route 1A north of Coshocton. At 16.0 feet, Flood waters
begin to affect the Lake Park area along the Walhonding River and
begins backwater flooding along Mill Creek north of Lake Park and
along Route 83. Flood waters will begin to enter yards in low-lying
areas along County Route 1A. At 18.0 feet, Moderate flooding occurs
along County Route 1A and lower areas along Route 16 south.
Widespread flooding occurs from the Lake Park area south to near
the intersection of Routes 83 and 36. Homes around North Water
Street in Coshocton floods.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 15.2 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 10:00 AM EDT Saturday was 15.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.5 feet
tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday
afternoon.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 16.5
feet on 04/08/2000.

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
expected.
* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Ohio, including
the following counties, in north central Ohio, Ashland, Crawford,
Knox, Marion, Morrow and Richland. In northeast Ohio, Holmes.
* WHEN...Until 1100 PM EDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is occurring. Numerous roads remain
closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to excess
runoff from earlier rainfall.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1053 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms last evening.
Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 2.5
and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area this afternoon and evening with another round of
showers and thunderstorms.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Mansfield, Marion, Mount Gilead, Galion, Ontario, Lexington,
Crestline, Loudonville, Fredericktown, Cardington, Bellville,
Hayesville, Glenmont, Chesterville, Nashville, Waterford,
Butler, Perrysville, Lucas and Caledonia.
- Flooding is ongoing for several area rivers and creeks.
Flooding has been reported on the Clear Fork of the Mohican
River near Butler, the Black Fork of the Mohican River near
Loudonville and near Charles Mill Lake, and Whetstone Creek
near Mount Gilead.

* WHERE...Killbuck Creek near Killbuck.
* WHEN...Until late Wednesday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Private property on Water Street in the
Village of Killbuck flooded. Several county and local roads
impassable including State Route 60 south and County Road 621.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 4:00 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 17.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Wednesday afternoon and continue falling to 13.9 feet early
Thursday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
17.4 feet on 06/17/1946.
