Farmer’s Market Sells Pasture Raised Meat

Along with fresh produce, the Farmer’s Market is now a destination for pasture raised pig, lamb and turkey.
The Bush Valley Farm joined the group of vendors at the Farmer’s Market this year. Owner and operator Scott Bush said that he and his wife are enjoying the selling opportunities that the local market has to offer.
“Well the market here is a excellent avenue for us to get our product out there for people to get to know us,” said Bush.
Bush Valley Farm prides itself on the humane treatment and care of the animals they raise. Bush said he’s proud his animals live a happy life.
“Our philosophy is just to simply raise the animal in the most humane and a fun manner for them and for us as we possibly can,” said Bush.
The Farmer’s Market continues to be open each Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The market will continue to sell at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds through October.
