“Festival of Trees” Entry Deadline Approaching

A favorite holiday tradition in Zanesville is only three weeks away.
The annual “Festival of Trees” is coming up the first week of December and time is running out to submit your entry. For businesses interested, the sooner you register, the sooner your business will be promoted on the Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce’s website.
“We’re trying to tell people we’re at the deadline and it’s time to enter, if you’re going to do it, it’s a great way to promote your business, great way to get your name out there as an organization, so we encourage people to consider entering,” said Chamber president, Tom Poorman.
If you’d like to submit an entry, you can visit the chamber’s website at zmchamber.com to fill out a form. Those who enter will be able to decide which type of holiday decoration they’d like to donate…anything from wreaths to stockings are accepted.
“We usually get about 200 to 210 entries from area organizations and companies, and really some creative and interesting things that people enter in the festival,” Poorman said.
The “Festival of Trees” kicks off on December 2, at the Zanesville-Muskingum County Welcome Center and will be broadcast live on AM 1240 Whiz Radio.
