Osu Alumni Club Hosts Its Annual Scholarship Watch Party

The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Muskingum County hosted an Ohio State vs. Illinois football game viewing fundraising event at the Barn.

The proceeds from today will go toward their scholarship fund. We spoke to the President of OSU Alumni Club of Muskingum County, Terry Kopchak and he tells us, on average they raise between 7,000 and 10,000.

“Every year our club awards scholarships to local students; Muskingum County residents who attend any of the campuses of Ohio State. Both, high school seniors that are entering OSU for the first time and to student that are currently enrolled there as well,” said Kopschak.

Kopchak tells us the purpose of their club is to simply, give back.

“It’s the main focus of our local club, of course we love Ohio State, and we love Ohio State athletics. But, the main thing is we want to give back. And let younger people experience the great pride and joy that we had at Ohio State University. So, anything we can do to help young people fund their education we’re very happy about that. That’s the main reason for raising money with our club,” said Kopschak.

If you would like to get involved, the OSU Alumni Club is open to membership for anyone. for more information visit there website at OSUACMC.ORG
