Weir Commits to Air Force

The John Glenn Muskies now have two Division I commits taking the floor this Friday at Cambridge. Just 12 days after Drew Rackley signed with Virginia Military Institute, teammate Matt Weir has verbally committed to Air Force.

Weir says he’ll “for sure” sign with the Falcons, who play in the Mountain West Conference. He passed on offers from Navy and West Liberty.

Weir and Rackley form a formidable back court for the Muskies. Weir pitched in an average of 13.2 points, 4.4 assists, 3.5 rebounds and two steals per game as a junior, shooting nearly 67 percent from inside the arc and 45 percent from deep.
