Fanatics is Hiring Hundreds for Seasonal Positions

One of the largest American retailers of licensed professional and college sports products is looking fulfill quite a large amount of new positions.

Fanatics Incorporated in Frazeysburg is currently hiring seasonal employee positions in preparation for the holiday shopping rush. Vice President Joseph Lyon told us, the company has even increased the pay for their new hires.

“The pay rates has just increased. They have gone up $2 more an hour per shift. We’re starting off at $12 an hour for day shift and $13 an hour per night shift. It’s picking and packing positions more the most part,” said Lyon.

Although this is a seasonal position the new hires have the option to extend their employment. Lyons explains, once you are hired; if you are a serious about the position you will have the opportunity to stay.

“Absolutely, they can take it as far as they want to really. The people that come to work and do a good job will have an opportunity to for full-time conversion. In the spring, after Christmas there is still a high volume of business due to returns and then it’ll just grow from there,” said Lyon.
