Toys for Tots ATV Poker Run

The Fun Factory Riders club hosted a Toys for Tots off road poker run.
Similar to a motorcycle run, riders drove their ATV’S. The run started on Darlington Dr. and went on for approximately 50 miles. At about half way through the ATV riders stopped by the Philo Firehouse for a spaghetti dinner and then the ride ended back at the starting point for more festivities.
“There was a lot of preparation that went into it. A couple days of preparing and cleaning here, the fire department. We do these throughout the year as fundraisers for our department. Now, doing it with Toys for Tots, was a real benefit for us. We can’t thank the people enough, that participated today,” said Davis.
When asked if holidays make organizing fundraisers more difficult Davis says not with a supportive community like this one.
“You sometimes wonder, you do it this close to the holidays you wonder what participation your going to get. But, it was well received; the community is very good. our whole entire county is a good place,” said Davis.
The registration fee was $20 plus a new toy to be donated to Toys for Tots.
