Making Cookies with Mrs. Claus

Beside every great man you’ll find a great woman. Well, one especially great woman just so happened to be baking goodies for a special cause.

We spotted Mrs. Claus at the Riesbeck’s Saturday morning decorating Christmas tree cookies with children of all ages. Riesbeck’s has held this event for the last four years.

“We’re here decorating cookies with children at Riesbecks here in Zanesville. Children from all ages from 99 years old and down were welcome to come decorate cookies. There’s no right way, no wrong way. You just put whatever you want on those cookies and make them your own,” said Mrs. Claus.

With Christmas right around the corner, what better way to make sure you stay off the naughty list, than to receive some inside pointers from the Mrs.

“One thing is always be good to everyone. Treat them how you want to be treated and the best way to start out your day is with a smile. That smile is contagious and it makes everybody around you happy. That way they can stay on the nice list, and of course make sure to leave Santa Claus a chocolate cookie that night,” said Mrs. Claus.

This was Mrs. Claus last day before heading back to the North Pole to help Santa prepare for Christmas. But, you can expect to see her here again next year.
