Jingle all the way around the Track

Members of the community gathered together to run a 5-K for a good cause.

Rosecrans High School, Lady Bishops held their very first 5-K at the Ohio University Zanesville track early Saturday morning. Head Coach of the Rosecrans Lady Bishops, Laura Hagy told us this is a great team bonding exercise for the girls.

“We decided to start this 5-K, this is our first year for it. We came up with Jingle all the Way because, we thought that it was catchy for the holidays. The proceeds from the 5-K are going to go towards our basketball program. After Christmas we’re going over to West Virginia to a basketball tournament and the proceeds from this 5-K are going to pay for our travel expenses,” said Hagy.

The first man and woman to cross the finish line won a gift card to Starbucks.
