Davis Enters Plea in Shooting Incident
A Zanesville man charged in connection with a shooting near the Canteen Bar earlier this month enters a plea in court. The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office says Clarence Davis II went before Common Pleas Judge Mark Fleegle and pled not guilty to multiple charges including, felonious assault, discharging a firearm at or into a habitation and tampering with evidence. Zanesville Police say on Saturday December 5th they were called after a verbal altercation began in the bar and moved outside to Liberty Street where the shooting occurred. Three people were injured. Judge Fleegle continued Davis’s bond at $1,000,000.
