The Renner Theater is preparing for their first performance of 2016. That some are calling a unique and immersive experience.

The Zane Trace Players are presenting a murder mystery called ‘Night of January 16th,’ that is a gripping drama that comes to life when the audience is asked to take part in the play.

“So this is a courtroom drama, so you will see everything from prosecution and the defense but, we call our jury members from our audience so if they’re will to participate and listen and render a normal verdict they’ll be able to do that from up on stage. You may actually see that in our jury box. Where they’re sitting there participating and they are watching it live and you feel like you’re actually part of the show because you’re seeing everything in real time,” said Michelle Robison.

This production premieres January 22nd. Tickets are $15 for adults, seniors and students are $12 and kids 12 and under are $5. The next production showing at the Renner Theater is Disney’s Aladdin Jr. beginning in march.
