Muskingum County Startlight Programs Will Host Open Forum March 9thZANESVILLE, Ohio- A local school will be undergoing some changes.

On March 9th at 6 p.m. Muskingum County Starlight Programs will be hosting an open forum to talk about changes to their adult services.

“We will be sharing with our families, people we serve, and everybody that interested in the community is welcomed to come. We’ll be talking about some of the upcoming changes. At this point we don’t have a definite date on the changes. We have been planning and preparing. We know what some of the changes are going to be. But as far as final dates we don’t have that yet,” said Director of Support and Administrative Services Cathy Smith.

The forum will feature a panel discussion. Starlight school is inviting all Muskingum County residents to come, ask questions, and learn more about the changes.

“With the changes things are going to look different. There will be different services available. We are looking to integrate people into the community and also into the work force. And hopefully with these changes they will have a better quality of life. We know it’s scary that families and individuals are a little concerned about the future. But we do truly believe that the services will be better than what we offer today,” said Smith.
