Newark Police Searching For Abduction Suspect

The Newark Police Department says it’s searching for a suspect in connection with an abduction of a 19-year-old female. It happened on Thursday in the Everett Avenue area. The female is at home and safe at this time. Sergeant Clint Eskins released a sketch of the man who police are looking for – He is described as a white male, slender with gray hair that includes dark hair. He’s in his late 50’s to 60’s. His complexion is described as being “orange” possibly from recent spray-on tanning. The vehicle he is driving is described as a newer, medium gray or silver, Ford full-size pick-up. It’s very clean and may be a “crew cab”, but definitely has a rear seat. It has black cloth interior, tinted windows and a cap on the back. Anyone with information on this man is asked to call Newark Police.
