Local Businesses Join the Revitalization Project in Downtown Zanesville

The Zanesville Downtown Association hosted three ribbon cutting ceremonies Wednesday.
Nate and Susie Jones are the owners of the downtown building with Nicole’s on Main. Also located in the building is Serendipity Salon and Spa and Victoria’s Secret Studio. The two owners of those businesses, Victoria Whyde and Amanda Morgan said they’re excited to be a part of the downtown movement.
"This is where Zanesville started, downtown. Everything wants to move up north, North-Point which I love North-Point I can go shopping, but, I think everything should come back here. This is the heart, the interstate runs right through here so everyone sees downtown. When they get off, 7th street, 5th street they see our library, come through here they see businesses," said Amanda Morgan, Owner of Serendipity Salon & Spa.
Victoria Whyde, Owner of Victoria’s Secret Studio, said she’s here to do her part to make downtown Zanesville come alive again.
"I’m completely excited because, the last two years I’ve gotten to see downtown come alive. Even Sundays are busy and I’ve never seen so many people walking around and I want downtown to come alive," said Victoria Whyde, Owner of Victoria’s Secret Studio.
With the opening of these shops, the downtown business count is now at 218.
