ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Community Bank collected more than 2,000 non perishable food items for several area food pantries.

Several branches of the bank participated in the food drive. The Crooksville branch donated to Iliff United Methodist Church, Frazeysburg donated to the Aim Food Project, and the Cambridge branch made a donation to Grace Pantry.

“If you just look this is just amazing,” said Community Bank receptionist and chair for Operation Feed Stefanie Robinson. “Community Bank is all about giving back to the community, that’s what we’re here for.”

Community Bank office manager and vice president Cynthia Jackson said she’s proud of all the customers and employees who contributed to this year’s food drive.

“When you look at the numbers you think 2,000 plus numbers,” said Jackson. “But once you put it all together and view it this way it’s really a good feeling. It’s awesome what we do and it’s awesome the bank allows us to do that.”

Both Robinson and Jackson look forward to making this a bigger event with even more participation for years to come.
