42nd Annual Utica Sertoma Ice Cream Festival Wraps Up On Monday

UTICA, OHIO- Monday was the third and final day for the 42nd Annual Utica Sertoma Ice Cream Festival.

The three-day weekend event featured arts and crafts, live entertainment, fun games for the kids, tractor rides, food, and ice cream.

The Utica Ice Cream Festival was started in 1975. The reasoning behind starting the festival was to help fund local projects brought up by the Sertoma Club that benefits the community.

12 year Chairman of the Utica Sertoma Ice Cream Festival, Paul Palumbo, said that all the money that they take in from the festival goes directly into the Utica Sertoma Club.

“Sertoma means service to mankind, we put in thousands of hours for this event and all the money we get for the event goes right back into the community,” Palumbo said.
