Team GodSpeed Track and Field Camp Thursday and Friday at ZHS

ZANESVILLE, Ohio– A track and field camp will be held at ZHS Thursday and Friday.

This 2 day camp is for preschool, elementary, middle, and high school students. The cost for preschool and elementary aged participants is $20 and for middle and high school is $45. All sessions begin at 10 a.m. But the preschool and elementary session ends at 12:30 p.m. while the middle and high school session ends at 3:30 p.m.

“This is our 12 year of our camp,” Team GodSpeed President Patrick Pugh said. “We bring in college coaches, high school coaches, regional coaches that coach at clinics throughout the mid west. The pre-k through 5th grade can expect to learn more about track, being introduced to track and field events. And then 6th through high school age range they can expect to learn more in regards to their specific event and take them to the next level.”

Lunch is provide, following the 2 day camp there will be a Rock ‘N Run Track meet on Saturday.

“Every event will be held at the meet. Timers will be there, everything,” Pugh said.
