Z.M.C.B hosts its Second Concert of its Summer Series

Summertime in Zanesville is all about the outdoors for some live music extravaganzas.

Sunday was day two of the summer long concert series presented by the Zanesville Memorial Concert Band. For five Sundays in the months of June and July you can come with your own lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy the sounds of traditional brass band music. Vice President of the Z.M.C.B, Dakota McConaha said all concerts are free and open to the public.

“It’s a very family oriented event, it’s free and open to the public, donations are always accepted,” said McConaha. “The concert is a great way to enjoy your Sunday evening, it’s a great way to kick back and enjoy some great music from some great folks from around the community.”

The next performance by the band will be at Zane’s Landing Park on Sunday, July 3rd, at 7 p.m.
