Pet of the Week

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – This week’s pet of the week is Peggy, a three-year-old shepherd shar pei mix who is looking for a forever home.

Peggy has been at the Animal Shelter Society for several months. Executive Director for the shelter Jody Murray said that Peggy can become a part of your family for a low cost.

“We have a very reduced adoption fee,” said Murray. “If someone comes in and does an applications and has all the good qualities of being able to take care of Peggy, and has room for her to run and play, then we will make it financial possible for anyone to adopt her.”

Murray said that Peggy loves to go on walks and rides and cars. She can be adopted directly at the shelter on Newark Road.
