Roahrig and Evans win OHSAA Scholar-Athlete Scholarship

Coshocton graduate Conner Roahrig and Newark Catholic graduate Danielle Evans were two of the 36 recipients of this year’s OHSAA Scholar-Athlete Scholarships.

Roahrig was a standout in multiple sports during his four year career at Coshocton, earning Special Mention All-Ohio honors and was a first-team All-ECOL selection in basketball his senior season.  He also was also named ECOL Player of the Year in soccer.

Evans also had an outstanding career at Newark Catholic.  She was named Honorable Mention All-Central District in Division III girls basketball.  She was also named an NFCA High School Unweighted All-America Scholar-Athletes.

Each recipient was awarded $1,000.
