"Lotto-Fever" hit the Y-Bridge City Friday as Mega Millions players rushed to get their hands on a winning ticket.

The record jackpot rose Friday afternoon to $640 million dollars.

We caught up with lottery players at the Colony Square Mall. Many of them are first time players hoping to win big, and pay off some bills.

"First pay off all the bills, and then take a nice vacation, help my parents, and help my community," said first-time Mega Millions Player, Nanci Rogers.

"Pay off bills, pay off my family’s bills, and retire," explained Deborah Close.

"First thing, honestly,… Loans. I would get the loans done, and get that paid, and out of the way and… Anything I owe, is done, it’s going to be gone," said OU Student, Sean Polvinale.

"Well I would like to get my daughter a lot of stuff, and pretty much prepare her for the future," said Kyle Daughtery.

Tickets will be sold until 10:45 Friday evening, and the winning numbers will be drawn at 11.
