Morgan County Women Plead Guilty To Robbery

Two Morgan County woman charged in connection with the robbery of a BP gas station appeared in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Monday.  29-year-old Emmalee Stanley of McConnelsville and 32-year-old Chasta Pettet of Malta both plead guilty to the robbery in Duncan Falls in February.  Judge Mark Fleegle ordered a pre-sentence investigation and continued their bond at $100,000 cash each.  Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says on February 13th one of the women walked into the gas station and told employees she had a pipe bomb under her jacket.  Lutz says the clerks did not see a bomb, but the woman was holding something under her shirt.  Both women were arrested later than evening on State Route 669 in Morgan County.
