Zanesville Police K-9 passes away

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Chief Kenneth Miller with the Zanesville Police Department said that one of their retired K-9s has passed away.
Paco served ZPD from 2006 until his retirement in 2014 at the age of 10. Paco was a Dutch Shepherd who passed from an apparent heart attack.
Paco was purchased entirely with public donations and after his retirement lived with Ptl. Travis Groves. He passed on July 2.
Zanesville Police currently have three K-9s, one that works on each shift. Chief Miller said they are planning a brief tribute for Paco in the near future.
