Meet Cadbury, The Pet Of The Week

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Each week we feature a new furry friend as pet of the week.

Meet Cadbury the bunny, Cadbury was found as a stray and brought to the animal shelter a few months ago and is now up for adoption. If you’re interested in giving him a forever home you can hop on over to the Animal Shelter Society and make him a part of your family for just a small fee.

"He is a male, he has already been neutered and his adoption fee is $35. As a shelter here we take in a lot of small animals, Hamsters, Gerbils, Ferrets, Guinea pigs all of those kind of things. Cadbury came to us and we thought we’d feature him this week," Jody Murray.

Murray said he feels Cadbury would make a good pet for small children because it would help teach them responsibility.

"Usually younger kids like rabbits because, they can get them out and play with them and hold them and things like that. They’re obviously not something that you can take on a walk but, usually make good pets for children. Kind of teaches kids the responsibility of taking care of pets," said Murray.

For more information on Cadbury you can visit the Animal Shelter Society on Newark Road.
