Zoological Association President Says Thompson Murdered

The President of the United States Zoological Association says that Muskingum County exotic animal owner Terry Thompson was murdered.  Joe Schreibvogel tells reporters that he believes Thompson did not commit suicide but was murdered as part of a conspiracy to implement a ban on the private ownership of wild animals in the state.  His comments were posted on YouTube by Marc Kovac, the Statehouse bureau chief for Dix News and the Youngstown Vindicator.  Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says he is holdings his comments about the claim until he has a chance to see exactly what was said.  On October 18th of 2011 Thompson released dozens of exotic animals from his Kopchak Road farm then committed suicide.  State Senator Troy Balderson of Zanesville is sponsoring a bill that would ban new ownership of exotic animals and people who already owns these animals to follow strict regulations.
