Thompson Sentenced to Four Years

A Philo man was sentenced to four years in prison Monday for multiple felony charges.

35-year-old Jason Thompson had previously pled guilty to seven charges of pandering obscenity involving a minor. Monday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court, Thompson received the four-year-sentence from Judge Kelly Cottrill.

Judge Cottrill also ordered Thompson classified as a Tier II sex offender once he is released. That means he must register with authorities every 180 days for 25 years.
