Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle Sent To Hospital

Just before 4pm, the Zanesville Police and Fire Departments responded to the call at the intersection of Maple and Forest Avenues. According to the Zanesville Police Department, a woman tried to cross Maple Avenue without using a designated cross walk, and was hit by a truck. The driver of the truck was not injured. The woman was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital with moderate injuries. The names of the driver and the pedestrian are not being released at this time.
