ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Muskingum County courthouse could be getting some repairs made.

Last summer, The Traditions Group cleaned and painted the top of the courthouse. After seeing the difference it made, the county commissioners realized more work could be done. The Traditions Group met with them Thursday to discuss quotes and exactly what repairs are needed.

County Commissioner Cindy Cameron said, “he had sent us an email and asked if he could come in and talk to us and he came down and brought a quote. He actually was here last Friday and had taken some pictures, then he came down today to meet with us just to give us some quotes, different things that he would do.”

Cameron said they will be cleaning, painting the rest of the courthouse, some slate removal and replacement and just minor work that needs done. She said they’re going to meet with the head of their maintenance and decide on a starting date. Cameron said some repairs could take ten days, others could take up to two months.
