No Help for Flooding Victims

The Mayor of West Lafayette said they’ve concluded a structural damage assessment after the area was hit by flash flooding.
Mayor Stephen Bordenkircher said they looked at over 100 homes using the Small Business Administration Damage Assessment Criteria to determine possible financial assistance eligibility.
He said after looking at the information collected the incident doesn’t meet criteria for any state or federal financial assistance to repair damaged homes.
The mayor said they’ll continue to explore all avenues to bring any assistance to affected residents.
