Power Outage Update – Monday July 2

Here are the latest local power outage numbers from American Electric Power.

Muskingum: 19,549

Perry: 10,485

Morgan: 3,859

Guernsey: 8,397

Noble: 2,556

Coshocton: 5,583

Licking: 39,903

Fairfield: 18,066

Guernsey Muskingum Electric Cooperative 7,500

The power company reports that those in the Newark Area which includes Muskingum, Perry and Morgan counties should have power by Midnight Sunday July 8. Those in the Coshocton area will be back online by midnight July 3 and the Lancaster area should be back in service by midnight Saturday.

American Electric Power has more than 1,800 AEP Ohio and outside line resources along with over 300 various support personnel commtted to restoring power.

The Energy Cooperative said Monday morning they should have power restored to the majority of the 8,900 members out of power later in the day.
