Power Outage Numbers for Tuesday

As of 8p.m. Monday night American Electric Power had restored power to approximately 42 percent of the 660,000 affected by the storms that moved through the state, Friday. Here’s a breakdown of how it looks in our area.

Muskingum: 15,784

Morgan: 3,469

Perry: 8,135

Noble: 2,046

Guernsey: 7,997

Coshocton: 2,654

Licking: 31,312

Fairfield: 14,471

American Electric Power reports that the Lancaster area should have power by midnight Saturday. Coshocton should be up and running by midnight July 4 and the Newark area which includes Muskingum, Perry and Morgan should be back up by midnight Sunday.

The Energy Cooperative reports Tuesday morning that 4,290 members are without power. Licking County has 2,981 and Knox 1,309.  Officials there said they have two new crews coming in to help in the Flintridge area setting poles. Flintridge has the largest number of members out of power with 1,920.
