Fatal accident in Licking County

LICKING CO, Ohio— The Licking County Sheriffs Office is investigating a fatal accident on US 40 west of State Route 37.

Authorities said two people were killed in the crash that occurred around 3:00 p.m. Wednesday.

US 40 has been closed between Rt 37 and St Rt 158.

The names of those involved in the crash are not being released at this time pending family notifications.
