Perry says the partnership will enhance the pediatric services available at the hospital.
“It’s also gonna help a lot of patients to stay local, you know, so it’s being able to have a lot more people, have a lot more children to be able to get their care locally now that we have this new resource from Nationwide Children’s. For the general public, it’s a, you know, you should feel very comfortable bringing your children to Genesis because we’re going to be able to — you’re going to be connected with Nationwide Children’s Hospital physicians and programs right here in our town.”
Perry says hospitalists will be available to provide care to patients in the pediatric unit, well baby nursery and intermediate care nursery as well as high-risk deliveries and emergency department consultations.
