Tigner Arraigned In Fatal Crash

A Zanesville man was arraigned Wednesday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court in connection with a fatal motorcycle accident. 20-year-old Zachary Tigner pleads not guilty to one count to aggravated vehicular homicide. Judge Kelly Cottrill continued Tigner’s bond at 100-thousand dollars. The Highway Patrol says it happened on February 20th just north of Mcglade School Road on State Route 60. Troopers says Tigner was traveling north on 60 and attempted to pass a truck that was turning into a driveway and contact was made. The Highway Patrol says a passenger on the motorcycle, 20-year-old Luka Smith of Zanesville was pronounced dead at the scene. Tigner suffered serious injuries and was flown to Ohio State University Medical Center. The driver of truck is identified as Mark Neal of Zanesville.
