Chamber of Commerce Urges Continued Support of Businesses

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- With the ban on dine-in restaurants coming from Governor DeWine many local businesses will feel the sting of financial hardship.
The Zanesville Chamber of Commerce is looking to help mitigate those pains by urging consumers to continue their support of business. Kelly Ashby, vice president of the Chamber of Commerce, says there are several ways to continue support.
“We have information on our website VisitZanesville.com and also ZMChamber.com to let the community know that restaurants are open for takeout and we are encouraging that folks continue to support our local businesses by doing carry-out business.” , Ashby said to WHIZ Monday morning.
Ashby also wants to let it be known that certain artistic venues will have different ways for people to experience them.
“Folks are getting very creative during this time. So there’ll be things like Facebook Live, events happening live online, local resources on different websites, so again we want to make sure that you go right to our website ZMChamber.com and VizitZanesville.com again for those creative ways that folks are getting.”
