Governor DeWine: 2,199 Confirmed Coronavirus Case, 55 Deaths

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine held his daily briefing at the Statehouse in Columbus Tuesday about the coronavirus outbreak. The statewide total is now at 2,199 confirmed cases and 55 deaths. The Governor announced that Ohio Department of Health Director Dr. Amy Acton issued an order requiring health care facilities and others report their inventories of ventilator for possible redistribution to hard hit areas. DeWine also issued an order to prohibit water companies from cutting off water service for Ohioans for nonpayment of bills. But he added all bills will have to be eventually paid. There are now 71 counties in the state with confirmed cases of COVID-19. It includes two in Muskingum County, 25 in Licking County, 5 in Coshocton County, and one in Perry County.
